Ken Melton is a Virginia Beach native for all of his 54 years. Ken has a trained eye, the experience, the knowledge of Coastal Virginia Homes and the technology to provide superior professional home inspections. Not only is Ken an experienced Home Inspector, he is a long standing member of the American Society of Home Inspectors ( ASHI ) and has inspected thousands of homes.

If you are like most....buying a home is probably the largest investment you'll ever make. And its a decision that will affect you for years to come. The process can be extremely stressful and confusing. And of course, there is always considerable risk involved when making such a large purchase decision. Ken can significantly reduce your risk and help make the entire home buying process easier and less stressful. Ken enjoys helping his clients in this process, customer service is his highest priority.

A word of caution ..... Anyone can call themselves a home inspector and there are many inexperienced home inspection companies cropping up.  It takes years and thousands of home inspections to become a competent home inspector. Ken strongly encourages all his clients to accompany him during the inspection. The information exchanged during the inspection is valuable. You should feel free to ask Ken any questions you may have during the inspection process. He will point out problems and explain them to you. He will also show you the good points of the house as well. Plus, he will explain what routine maintenance is needed to keep the house in top condition. This will help you to get the most benefit from the inspection and gain the most understanding of the systems that make up your home, and how to maintain it. 

You'll get a comprehensive computer report that is easy to understand and read. Everything identified during the inspection will be included in the report. The information from the inspection and report will help you move forward and make confident, educated decisions about purchasing your home.
